Watch Out the Status of BSE Auto Index
Most auto and auto ancillary stocks were suffering losses in Friday’s session, keeping the sectoral index in the negative zone.
The BSE Auto index was trading 0.75 per cent down at 21,823 around 11:32 am.
Shares of TVS Motor Company, Hero MotoCorp, Motherson Sumi Systems, Apollo Tyres and Maruti Suzuki India were the top losers in the auto pack.
Shares of Bajaj Auto, Balkrishna Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Bharat Forge and MRF also declined.
However, Tata Motors, Cummins India, Exide Industries, Bosch and Ashok Leyland were in the green zone at that time.
Equity benchmarks Nifty and Sensex were swinging between gains and losses amid firm Asian cues.
