TVS Motor hit new 52-week high; ICICI Bank jumps 2%, Maruti most active

It is observed that 46 stocks hit new 52-week high on NSE. Few are Biocon, DLF, GAIL India, Maruti, KEC International, VRL Logistics and TVS Motor Company.

On Thursday, the Indian benchmark indices were trading on a positive note with the Nifty up 86 points or 0.86 percent. On the other hand, the Sensex added 245 points and was trading at 32845.

As of the veteran analysts view, ICICI Bank from the Bank Nifty was the top performer. It jumped over 2 percent.

The stock that gained the most from the Nifty was GAIL India. It jumped over 6 percent.  It was also observed that the Tech Mahindra added close to 5 percent followed by UPL, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors.

Some of the most active stocks are Maruti Suzuki, GAIL India, Shankara, Jet Airways and Avenue Supermarts. Maruti Suzuki was up over 2 percent.

Few stocks that gained the most from the BSE are Rattan India, KEC International. Rattan India zoomed 9 percent while KEC International was up 8 percent.

Some other top gainers were TV18 Broadcast, GAIL India and Can Fin Homes.
