Today Nifty FMCG Index Was Trading 2.47 Per Cent Down At 31,317
On Tuesday, during the afternoon trading session, the Nifty FMCG index was trading 2.47 per cent down at 31,317 with all components in the red.
It was reported that the Jubilant Foodworks, United Breweries, Dabur India, Tata Global Beverages and Hindustan Unilever were the top losers in the index. On the other hand, the stocks those fell up to 3 per cent are Britannia Industries, Godrej Industries, Colgate-Palmolive and Godrej Consumer Products.
Some other stocks, those suffered losses are Marico, ITC, Emami, United Spirits, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare. Today, the benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 46 points at 11,536, while the BSE Sensex was 94 points down at 38,218.
Out of 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 9 were trading in the green, while 41 were in the red.
Today, the top gainers in the Nifty index were Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro. However, Ultratech Cement, Hindustan Unilever, Titan Company, Asian Paints and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
