Today Dabur Along With Other FMCG Stocks Was Top Nifty Loser

On Thursday, most of the FMCG stocks, including United Spirits, GlaxoSmithKline, Consumer Healthcare, Emami and Jubilant Foodworks were suffering losses in afternoon trade.

At around 01:30 pm, the Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.67 per cent down at 29,485.

Stocks That declined up to 1 percent are Dabur India, Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare, ITC and Marico.

Shares of Godrej Industries, Tata Global Beverages and Colgate-Palmolive too were in the red.

However, Godrej Consumer Products, United Breweries and Hindustan Unilever were in the green at that time.

The NSE Nifty50 index was down 79 points at 10,975, while the BSE Sensex was 232 points down at 36,310.

Out of 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

The gainers in the Nifty index were Tata Steel, Asian Paints, Titan Company, Infosys and State Bank of India.

Top losers in the Nifty index were YES Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Bajaj Finance, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Axis Bank.
