Timings of 300 Northern Zone Railways to Change from Tomorrow
The departure of 57 trains has been preponed and 58 trains have been postponed. Also, the arrivals of 102 trains have been preponed while 84 trains have been postponed. The new timings will come into effect from 15 august 2018 (Independence Day).
The trains whose timings have been changed include Shatabdi, rajdhani, Duronto, Mahamana among many others. Some trains whose departure timings have been preponed are Tejas Express, Haridwar-Udaipur City Express, Lucknow Mail, etc. Others whose departure timings have been postponed are Humsafar Express, Neelachal Express, Dehradun-Amritsar Express, etc. Timings have been changed between a range of five minutes to two-and-a-half hours.
A statement was released by the Railways which said that the new timetable will come to effect from 15 August and the public should check the new timetable of the revised timings of the trains before commencing their journey. The new timetable is said to valid for the rest of the 2018 and a part of 2019.
The new timings might affect frequent travelers but it would just be a matter of few days.
