The Nifty FMCG Index Was Trading 0.57 Per Cent Down

On Friday, it was seen that the Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.57 per cent down at 28,650. At around 02:55 pm FMCG index included Tata Global Beverages and United Spirits as top losers. Some other stocks those were in the list of losers are Britannia Industries, Hindustan Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, ITC, Emami and United Breweries..

However, Godrej Consumer Products, Marico, Dabur India, Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare and Godrej Industries were among the gainers in the index. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 17 points at 10,719, while the BSE Sensex was 29 points down at 35,294.

Out of total 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Following are the most traded stocks on NSE; ICICI Bank, Punjab National Bank, SAIL, Vedanta, PFC, Ashok Leyland, State Bank of India, Tata Motors and Idea Cellular.
