Shraddha Kapoor: Not approached for ‘Bharat’, ‘Shotgun Shaadi’
Shraddha Kapoor’s last release was failed to make at the box office, but she has still many projects in her bag. She is currently shooting for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ with Shahid Kapoor and is also on board for ‘Stree’ opposite Rajkumar Rao. She will be seen in ‘Saaho’ with Bahubali star Prabhas. However, the buzz was that the actress is approached for a role opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next film titled ‘Bharat’. Rumors were also that she will reunite with her Ek Villain co-star Sidharth Malhotra for Shotgun Shaadi. While fans of the actress were excited beyond words after these reports surfaced, Shraddha Kapoor has refused them all.
Shraddha issued a clarification in which she has annulled all the rumors that claim she is a part of Bharat and Shotgun Shaadi. Shraddha clarifies that she hasn’t been approached for either film yet. Putting all rumors to rest, the actress states that if and when there would be another project announcement, her producers would make an official statement.
Shraddha Kapoor stated, “There are a couple of films that my name is being associated with when I haven’t even been approached. But the fact is that the only films I am working on are Batti Gul Meter Chalu , Stree and Saaho. My producers will announce if and when I sign another project. Till then please don’t believe any speculations.”
Leaving no space for speculations, Shraddha has clarified that she has three films on line that are Saaho, Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Stree.
Shraddha is working on a tight schedule these days. The Aashiqui 2 actress wrapped up the Uttarakhand schedule of Shree Narayan Singh’s film and took off to Chanderi, Bhopal to commence shooting for Stree.
