PM Modi and Sheikh Hasina is on visit to West Bengal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Sheikh Hasina his counterpart from Bangladesh for a two-day visit to West Bengal. Sheikh Hasina Arrived at West Bengal along with delegation of around 150 ministers and bureaucrats.
Modi along with Sheikh Hasina will attend the convocation ceremony at Visva Bharti University and will inaugurate Bangladesh Bhavan within the campus of West Bengal today.
Mamta Banerjee CM of West Bengal is also expected to join other leader for the events.
After this Modi will visit Jharkhand and will lay the foundation stone for many projects of the state as well as central government at an event in Sindri. Some of the projects are Ranchi city gas distribution project by GAIL, Patratu super thermal project, Development of deoghar airport and revival of Sindri Fertilizer project of Urvarak and Rasayan Ltd.
Ranchi is also among the ‘aspirational district’ which falls in the ‘transformation of aspirational districts’ program of Modi which aims quick and efficient transformation of the districts for raising the living standards of the people live there. PM is also expected to have an interaction with the IAS serving Ranchi.
