We all have seen Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif sharing cold-vibes owing to their relationship with ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. The actors have taken digs at each other on talk-shows and in media interviews in the past. Most recently, when asked about her wedding, Deepika said on BFFs with Vogue that she would not invite Katrina Kaif to her wedding.
When Ranbir and Deepika had promoted their film Tamasha, Katrina had told GQ, “I can’t enforce my will on the people in my life. Their choices are their own. I may not be happy with them, but I hope that as they mature or as they evolve, their choices will change.”
In an interview with Filmfare, Deepika had reacted to this and said, “I don’t read between the lines. I take people at face value.”
Alia Bhatt is close to both Ranbir’s both exes Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif and she is eager to teamed up with both in a movie. When asked about this, Katrina told, “I think it [teaming up with Alia] would be amazing. Not many know, but I have been telling Adi (Aditya Chopra; film-maker) for the longest time that someone should make a great, big-budget and lavishly mounted film starring two girls with strong characters. I really hope he does something like that and I would love to do such a movie with Alia. I have a strong feeling that it would do amazingly well [at the box office].”
However, she also added, “As far as I am concerned, there is no pact or anything like that with Deepika in terms of working together.”
So, she is giving a strong indication that she is not in mood in making a movie with Deepika but she is much excited to work with her BFF Alia in a movie.
