Jet Airways Expects Its Forward Sale to Rise around Rs 1,500-2,000 Crore
On Friday, during the afternoon session, the shares of Jet Airways climbed 3 per cent. This was observed when it was reported by media that the airline was looking to monetize its forward sales to raise around Rs 1,500-2,000 crore from NBFCs.
On BSE, today the stock rose 2.81 per cent to hit a high of Rs 308.90.
When the customers will book the tickets through credit cards then the payment will directly go to the concerned NBFC. This was reported by FE.
Jet Airways stock is being buzzing for the past few days for one reason or the other. On Friday, the company has informed the stock exchanges that it will announce its quarterly earnings on August 27.
It was also informed by the Jet Airways, that the meeting of the board of directors of the company shall be held on 27 August 2018 to approve the unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2018.
Last week, the company had deferred its earnings.
As per some reliable sources, Jet Airways has expressed interest in a deal that could value Jet Privilege at about Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 4,000 crore.
