Former P.M. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Health Condition Is Critical
Former Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s health has worsened over the last 24 hours and has been put on life support system. He was admitted to AIIMS on June 11 after being diagnosed with kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection and low urine output. He was undergoing treatment at AIIMS for the past 9 weeks. He is a patient of Diabetes and has only one functional kidney.
The BJP has postponed all its key events including its National Executive Meeting which was planned on August 18-19.The chairperson of media and protocol division at AIIMS, Dr Aarti Vij said in her statement that his condition continues to remain same and is on a life support system.
He is one of the most loved politicians of India. His party members and the members of the opposition respect him alike. ‘Havans’ are being performed in his hometown Gwalior and Lucknow (the constituency he represented) for his health.
Leading politicians including P.M. Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, L.K. Advani, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, and BJP chief Amit Shah have visited him at AIIMS.
