Divi’s Lab Remains In The Green Index
The Nifty pharma stayed in the green index as the gains in Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Aurobindo Pharma and Divi’s Laboratories were observed during Friday’s trade.
At around 2:00 pm, it was seen that the Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.38 per cent up at 8,718 levels.
The list of shares those were trading with gains includes Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Biocon, Piramal Enterprises, Lupin and Cipla.
On the other hand, the list of shares those were in the negative territory around the same time includes Sun Pharmaceutical Industries. Equity benchmarks pared gains on selling in select bank, oil and auto stocks.
On Friday, the NSE Nifty50 index was up 13 points at 10,471, while the BSE Sensex was up 63 points at 34,164.
Out of total 50 stocks in the Nifty index, it was observed that 26 were trading in the green. Rest other 24 stocks were in the red index. The top gainers in the Nifty index were Adani Ports SEZ, TCS, Wipro, Eicher Motors and Hindalco Industries.
And the top losers of the Nifty index were the shares of BPCL, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank and Indian Oil Corporation.
