BHEL Wins the Order of 75 MW Solar Photovoltaic and Gains 1 Percent

Recently, the Bharat Heavy Electricals had won the order of 75 MW Solar Photovoltaic on the basis of EPC in Gujarat. This happening has resulted in the gain of 1 percent intraday on Monday. The shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals rose by 1 percent.

Experts revealed that the company has won an order for setting up a 75 MW solar photovoltaic power plant. The power plant will be constructed on engineering, procurement and construction basis in Gujarat.

One of the Gujarat’s largest group of companies, Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL), has placed the order to BHEL. BHEL will be now responsible for setting up 75 MW SPV power plant at Gujarat Solar Park, Charanka, Gujarat.

It is believed that so far this will be the largest solar photovoltaic power plant of the company. Along with this order the solar portfolio has gone up to 545 MW.

Currently, the company is executing approximately 150 MW of ground- mounted as well as rooftop Solar PV projects all over the country.

On the BSE, at 13:16 hrs Bharat Heavy Electricals was quoting at Rs 81.40, up Rs 0.05, or 0.06 percent.
