The Vasundhara Raje government in Rajasthan has taken an initiative to encourage startups. Bhamashah will be the country’s largest technohub for the startups spread over an area of 1 lakh sq ft.It will operate in Jhalana institutional area of Jaipur. Around 700 startups will be able to operate simultaneously.
The entrepreneurs will get necessary mentoring and funding for free to run the startups for one year. 40 mentors have also been recruited. Apart from this, startups will also be given technical support related to software, hardware and other tools.
They will get financial assistance of 500 crore from Bhamashah Techno Fund. The startups introduced by women will get 100 crore and 50 crore will be given to environment-friendly innovations.
The evaluation of startups will be done every four months. If the startups manage to keep their performance up to the mark then they will continue to get support else they will be excluded from the list.
The technohub will be equipped with high speed internet, meeting or conference rooms, gym, restrooms, auditorium, personal and shared office space, digital museum and other necessary facilities.
