While Bollywood has countless multi-starrer films, there would rarely a film that has an all-female cast. However, we all are waiting for the Veere Di Wedding starring Kareena Kapoor Khan-Sonam Kapoor-Swara Bhaskar-Shikha Talsania. The movie is scheduled to release on June 1 this year.

The Bollywood’s young star Alia Bhatt wants to be a part of an all female multi starrer film. Except Udta Punjab, She has never been cast in a multi-starrer film and now wants to work with the Bollywood’s leading ladies for her next film. The actress says, “I’ve never been offered such a movie. I haven’t rejected a film because it was a two-heroine outing. Instead, I want to do something which has only women. I think we will have amazing camaraderie and it will be a fun film.”

Alia is one of the actresses who shares a healthy relationship with almost everyone in the industry. While most actresses don’t share a friendly bond with each other, Alia is different as she is friends with a number of heroines in the industry. She said, “Katrina (Kaif) is one of my closest friends, so we keep talking about doing a film. It’s the same with Deepika (Padukone). It will be amazing to act in a movie with such powerful women. I’ve made a pact with Kat and DP that we will do films together.” If it would happen in future then it will be interesting to see the three leading actresses. Earlier, Katrina too said that she wishes to do a Bollywood remake of Thelma & Louise (1991) with the dimpled actress.

Alia is also of the opinion that times are changing for women in the industry. She said, “It has become progressive for actresses today. But, there’s still a long way to go. The best thing is that now, they are standing by each other. For instance, imagine Dil Chahta Hai being remade with three girls today. It would be wonderful. I’m game for a good chick flick.”
