60 Days Deadline by Jet Airways, Beyond that it can’t Fly
Jet airways running out of money which makes is incapable to operate airline beyond 60 days. The management team with their chairman Naresh Goyal informed the situation to their employs and asked them to give up there 25 per cent salary for 24 months which will be non-refundable. At the same time he indicated towards the cost of maintenance, payroll, sales & distribution and in every possible aspect.
As being India’s oldest private airlines, the officials said that the airline is looking forward to growth-oriented and sustainable future. They are going to add a fuel efficient aircraft 225 B737 MAX in there fleet over the next decade.
The executive said that they have started firing people in many department and asked many people to leave from the engineering department.
This whole financial crisis induced chaos in the staff, they said that we haven’t informed prior on any such financial loss. This is suspected to be a step taken by the management team in order to get rid of some of the employees in particular.
